21.11.2025 | IDEFIX Finalist for Budapest Masterplan

We are excited to announce that IDEFIX landscape architecture, VOIDS,  and 4Plusz Architects have been selected as finalists in the international competition for the Rakosrendezo Masterplan in Budapest.

Rakosrendezo, a former 149-hectare railway yard, is one of the city’s most significant brownfield redevelopment sites. Recently acquired by the municipality, it offers space for up to 10,000 new homes and a diverse mix of urban functions that can help shape a sustainable and inclusive future for Budapest.

Together with our partners, we are developing a vision that places landscape, ecology, and high-quality public space at the heart of a new urban district. Our approach focuses on resilient design, accessible mobility, mixed-use programming, and a strong local identity.

We are proud to advance to the final round and look forward to refining our proposal for this transformative project.
