08.06.2026 | IDEFIX turns one, happy first birthday!

One year ago, IDEFIX began as a new adventure at De Fabriek van Delfshaven in Rotterdam. Somewhere between sketch sessions, deadlines, site visits, countless coffees, and plenty of good conversations, that first year passed faster than we ever imagined.

Last week, we celebrated our first birthday with an excursion alongside our friends from Studio Steinarsson. From visiting inspiring projects in Antwerp to ending the day with sunset drinks on the beach in ’s-Gravenzande, it was the perfect way to mark the close of an exciting first chapter.

What started in June 2025 as a new venture has quickly grown into a year filled with inspiring projects, new collaborations, fresh ideas, and many memorable moments. Over the past twelve months, we’ve had the opportunity to work on meaningful landscapes for cities, nature, and people, and we’ve enjoyed every step of the journey.

A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of this first year: our fantastic team, which has continued to grow over the past year, for their creativity and dedication, our clients for their trust, and all the collaborators, partners, and friends who have helped shape IDEFIX from day one.

One year in, and it still feels like we’re only just getting started.
