31.10.2025 | Sloterdijk Blok III: Preliminary Design Submitted

We’re happy and proud to have submitted the preliminary design for the public spaces and collective courtyards of Sloterdijk Blok III.

The design embraces a high green ambition, creating a network of interconnected green spaces across both public and private land. This greenery plays a central role in ensuring the liveability and future-readiness of this high-density urban development.

The plan integrates rainwater retention and infiltration, a diverse mix of trees, shrubs, perennials, herbaceous plantings, and façade greenery to boost biodiversity and support a nature-inclusive environment. These green spaces will offer food, shelter, and nesting opportunities for urban species, while providing cooling effects that help reduce heat stress and mitigate the Urban Heat Island Effect.

The result is a sustainable, resilient, and vibrant public realm that lays the foundation for a future-proof and highly livable Sloterdijk Blok III.
